Right now, the lake is in impressive shape, typical for this time of year. With full capacity, the water is pretty clear and you can see fish swimming on the bottom. It is still too cold to swim. My favorite months for water quality on the lake are June and September.

Keep in mind with the high water level some challenges may arise. While the lake appears inviting, boaters should remain alert for large tree branches lurking just below the surface. Higher water levels often carry debris into boating lanes, posing risks that could lead to damaged boats or accidents.

Hi Colleen!

Thank you for taking such good care of us last week on your beautiful boat on the lake! Chris, Trish, Pam and I had a wonderful time and would like to do it next trip! We also feel we met a friend in you! I am sure you will do great sharing your knowledge of the late with others! Knowing what you know, the history, the experience and how fun and friendly you are, we are all sure you will do great!

So much fun!

RIchmond bar and grill topped it off!

Sending you all the best!
